City University of Macau, formerly known as University of East Asia which was established in 1981, was renamed in 2011 and has adopted the development strategy of “Rename, Restructure, Transform, and Upgrade”. The University pursues the path of a metropolitan university and integrates with urban lives, achieving excellence in humanities, art, business, commerce, new engineering and social science.
